Paperless service

 Elo’s paperless service is easy on the environment and your nerves. Once you choose to take this service into use, we will no longer send you any insurance documents or decisions on paper. Your policy and pension documents are safe and secure in our Online Services, where they can be accessed anytime, anywhere.

What does the service offer in practice?

  1. Insurance-related documents will be delivered to you through the Online Service for company customers.
  2. Documents concerning your pension and rehabilitation benefits will be sent to you personally through the Online Service for private customers.
  3. You will receive separate notifications when you have new documents and messages.
  4. The documents are stored in the service in PDF format or as electronic data content.

How do I take the service into use?

  • Log in to the service at https://www.elo.fi/en/login-to-services.
  • Make sure that your email address and phone number are correct in the Online Service.
  • Online Service for company customers: Take the service into use under Customer information management – Customer info.
  • Online Service for private customers: Take the service into use under My information – Service method.

Basics of service use

Online Service for company customers

Elo sends email notifications concerning new insurance policy documents and insurance-related messages. The messages do not contain any detailed insurance information, but simply show that you are covered by insurance at Elo.

Insurance-related documents are stored in the Online Service for five years. When the policy ends, the documents will be available from the service for the current and previous year.

The paperless service does not affect the invoice delivery method, so you can separately decide how to receive your invoices.

Online Service for private customers

Elo sends email notifications concerning new pension and benefit documents and decisions. Please note that SMS messages cannot be sent to foreign phone numbers.

Pension and rehabilitation-related documents are stored in the Online Service for three years.

Please note that some decisions and documents may still be sent to you by mail, even though you have chosen to receive communications through our paperless service.

Term of appeal and other deadlines

The various time limits or deadlines concerning insurance policies and invoices, such as the period of appeal, will begin three days from the date on which the document in question is available in the Online Service.

Changing the service channel

You can change your choice of service channel at any time in Elo’s Online Service.

Updating contact information

Remember to keep your phone number and email address updated to ensure that you will always receive all notifications regarding new documents.
