Change in Elo’s management team
Hanna Hiidenpalo, Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of the Finnish pension insurance company Elo has informed she is leaving her duties in the company. Hiidenpalo has led the investment operations since Elo’s establishment in 2014. She is leaving her current position at the end of September and will continue as senior advisor until the end of 2023.
“Hanna Hiidenpalo has led with determination Elo’s investment operations in a turbulent environment and with good results. She will leave her successor a competent and engaged investment organization. She has also played an important role in the development of Elo's new strategy. We are grateful for her strong contribution and wish her all the best in the future,” Carl Pettersson, Elo’s CEO says.
“Ten years at Elo have been good and eventful years. During the past years we have developed our investments process to meet the changes in the operating environment and the results of our investments has been good. I would like to thank my supervisor and all my colleagues for the good cooperation during these years,” Hanna Hiidenpalo states.
Director Jonna Ryhänen has been appointed interim CIO of Elo as of October 1st, 2023. Ryhänen leads now the function of Allocation and Alternative Investments.
The search of the new CIO will start immediately.
